SafeStyle Project

Lifestyle smart glasses offer aesthetic appeal but fail rigorous safety requirements. This project aims to develop a wearable that bridges the gap between high-performance industrial utility and daily lifestyle aesthetics.

SafeStyle smart eyewear eliminates the compromise between workplace protection and modern design.

While in this design, also utilizing integrated AI to analyze realtime environmental context to create a better workflow and also preventing accidents before they occur.

The high retention slot design ensures that lenses remain permanently locked and cannot be accidentally dislodged during intensive physical work.

monocular display

included the display to provides critical workflow information and system notifications directly on the users vision.

Customization  is mechanical necessity. Aligning the display with the user's  dominant eye prevents significant visual fatigue.

PHYSICAL BUTTON

Unlike unreliable touch-based systems, this physical interface is specifically designed for workers wearing heavy duty gloves or operating in wet and dusty conditions.

high standard material

Design by using high quality material to achieve a premium coating, monolithic appearance. That bridges the gap between industrial equipment and lifestyle eyewear.

This is a Matte Metallic Sandblasted coating on a Polycarbonate material which creates a cold touch, metal like texture.

 

Beyond aesthetics, this metallic finish reinforces the user's perception of structural rigidity and impact protection

wraparound design

The curved, "wrapped" shape creates a sporty vibe that allows the glasses to transition naturally from the high-stakes job to everyday life.

structural consideration

Aluminum layer serves as a structural skeleton for rigidity while acting as a "HEAT HIGHWAY" to release thermal energy from the processors.




While the outer Polycarbonate shell is engineered to meet AS/NZS 1337.1 standardsensuring the frame can withstand high-velocity impacts without shattering.
